RADIOS |
In 1945, at least 61 pieces of radio equipment
(receivers and transmitters) of 35 different types, were aboard. Many radios
were removed before decommissioning. The equipment presented came from the following sources: |
*** 16 pages electronic equipment
signed for, 21 Apr 1948, by Mr Strickling, one of the TEXAS caretakers. The list has several items crossed off (not turned over) and is marked confidential. *** 5 page inventory, 1 Apr 1948, of engineering department equipment being left aboard *** "Radio Title B Equipment", undated.
